GenuDOT Development Kit

GenuDOT RFID reader is designed with people flow management and item authentication in mind.  It provides unprecedented flexibility and scalability.  Traditional RFID reader requires a computer to actively control the reader or to process the returning tag ID’s to a form that can be understood by the business process or application.  GenuDOT reader takes a major step forward by preprocess all tag ID’s at the reader and authenticates them according to the preloaded authentication list or through the host computer, or anything in between.  It has enough storage to authenticate up to 20 million tag ID’s and a built-in processor to authenticate, report, and securely communicate with other readers and the host computer in “real-time”.

This development kit includes everything you need to launch your first authentication and people flow management solution in less than a day.  It also includes sample codes and utility software for developing custom solution or integrating to the existing backend.  Here is the list of sample solutions that this development kit can do:

The enclosed CD provides a GenuDOT Manager software which configures the readers and loading the authentication list to operate in offline and peer-to-peer modes.  It also comes with a real-time monitoring and reporting feature which captures the reader activities on the network and summarize on the screen.  Optionally, a robust turn-key web reporting engine can be purchased to generate custom reports with tables, charts, and graphs.  Literally with several lines of code, a custom report can be made possible to graphically report/summarize the authentication activities and accessible over the network by a web browser.

To further simplify the development process, we include 1 day of fast track training which will cover the basics of the hardware and the in-depth usage of the included software utilities.  In addition, the training will show how to write a simple custom program using the GenuDOT readers.  In order to stand behind our products, the development kit comes with 1 month free online support in additional to the hardware warranty.
