The X-CHANGE Corporation (OTC BB: XCHC) is acquiring interests in emerging technology opportunities that will generate significant revenues and return a profit to shareholders. AirGATE Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary, specializes in wireless data management technologies and is developing applications utilized in RFID ("radio frequency identification") deployments.
X-Change Corporation (OTC BB: XCHC) acquired AirGATE
Technologies as a wholly owned subsidiary in 2005.
Based in Texas, AirGATE specializes in RFID;
ultra wideband (UWB); Zigbee (802.15.4); and surface
acoustic wave (SAW) RFID applications and μ-Chip
authentication systems.
AirGATE's has developed several specialized wireless
& RFID applications for their customers, who are
largely Fortune 500 companies. These unique
applications, protected by patents, allow AirGATE to
build up a recurring revenue model. On the other
hand, AirGATE's customers also benefits from the unique
applications in many different ways. Some of the
applications allow the customers to explore new market
and perhaps dominate in the new market. Some of
the applications allow the customers to save operational
expense, which cannot be recovered otherwise.
